Who I am
I love both the public-facing side of philosophy, as well as the technical world. I learned early on that my passion is combining the two and helping people from both realms understand one another. I believe a sustainable, thriving community relies on a policy maker's ability to advocate for the rights of their constituents. This includes having the right information, and having it be digestible and useful. Therefore, I dedicate myself to finding answers to relevant "big picture" questions surrounding technological adoption. I am a passionate, engaged team player with excellent research and analytic writing experience, and a strong background in survey design and report writing. I am both committed to my research, and to the people it will impact.
I also participate in several collaborative public philosophy projects, as well as public service, such as working to craft Curated Information Frameworks for different technologies and serving as a voting member of ISO/TC 347.
In my spare time, I love to take my dog for walks on the beach, cook for friends, and enjoy the odd baseball game.
